With more than 30 years of combined experience in journalism, public relations, consulting and politics, he made the leap to communications with CGI Group in the mid-1980s, where he took part in developing the company’s brand image and managed communications. He went on to become a senior partner at NATIONAL Public Relations, managed the public relations subsidiary of Cossette Group and established his own communications firm. In 1995, he founded Pyramid Public Relations, the predecessor of Cohn & Wolfe | Montreal. In 2012, André served as chief of staff to the Minister of International Relations, La Francophonie and External Trade.

He specializes in strategic counsel, issues management and organizational communications with clients in a wide range of industries, from real estate to healthcare, foundations, and municipal and parapublic organizations.

Named “Grand Verdunois” in 2010 and holder of several national and international awards in journalism, André is also involved in numerous organizations in Montreal, in addition to serving on the boards of directors of Public Relations Without Borders, Montréal Passion Vin and Fondation Pointe-à-Callière.
